Taro is a staple of East and South Asian cuisine, and, next to rice, it’s the continent’s favourite starch.

Brown Sugar Bubble Tea
Beautiful, trendy, and delicious, brown sugar bubble tea has taken the bubble tea world by storm, and it’s no surprise why.
Steeped in tradition, bubble tea has almost always been made with a tea base, with black tea being the most common, but innovation has seen many different varieties being used as well.
In brown sugar bubble tea, the typical black tea has fresh milk (oat milk, in our case) added too. Tapioca pearls braised fresh every morning in a thick, caramel-like brown sugar-sauce are first added to the cup at a slight tilt to streak the sides before adding our non-dairy oat milk.
The brown sugar streaks give this bubble tea flavor its signature appearance, and the contrast between the cold milk, the warm brown sugar syrup, the fragrant tea, and the chewy tapioca pearls is one that has won the hearts of people all around the world.
With only 3 simple ingredients, extra love, care, and attention must be taken to ensure that each addition is perfect.

The first thing you’ll notice with Thai milk tea is the tea.
